Men’s chains typically start at 18", but for a choker-style fit—especially on a thicker neck—20" is often the better choice.

Wrap a non-stretch string or ribbon comfortably around your ring finger, just below the knuckle. Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen (keep the mark small for accuracy).
